In each of these 3D visualizations, Vietnam-based designed Koj has taken simple elements and put them together to create organized, serene, and beautiful living spaces. From a small, urban apartment to more spacious suburban homes, each reflects a keen eye towards livable, contemporary design.
This apartment lacks in square footage and is quite narrow. By using light colors in both the wood and upholstery, the designer creates the feeling of more space.
Without a dedicated room for an office, Koj has to get creative. This office nook offers just enough space for a chair and laptop and can be flipped up and folded away when not in use.
This home offers more in the way of floor space, but features many design elements that are similar to the first, smaller apartment. Neutral colors dominate the living area, with a particular angle on gray, reflected even in the large elephant painting.
Elements in this space prove that it is not necessary to spend a fortune in order to have a home that looks put together. The coffee table here, for instance, is made from stacked wooden pallets, finished with a glass top. A simply DIY project could create a similar one for a few dollars.
Of particular interest in this open and airy bedroom is the interesting texture on the wall behind the bed. It creates the feeling of a headboard without actually adding one.
This home is a bit more suburban, but keep some distinctly urban elements, including vaulted ceilings and brushed metal dining chairs.
Just because furniture is outdoors does not mean it should be short on style. This woven chair could have stepped out of Mexico and found its home on this sunny patio.
We have moved from light to darker (if not totally dark) with this final space. Darker woods, a black sofa and gray walls keep in the neutral theme but take a tone that is a bit more serious.
This living space certainly calls to mind the word “structure.” From the mid-century style sofa to the spindly wooden armchair and the low, dark coffeetable everything has the right angles in the right places.
Any style home needs a comfortable place to read. This red arms chair is perfectly nestled in the corner for an easy escape.
