This rustic modern living room extends a welcoming appeal with earthy hues of grey, warm honey woods, and white. This design is wonderfully balanced between the opposing styles.

Grey and burgandy is often a tough combination to pull off in an open naturally lit space as it tends to be visually heavy. This space, however, does it quite well with the burgandy furniture being offset between two walls and the light sofa lifting up the third wall.

This Asian-inspired ivory space lends itself toward an elegant feminine style with lacy wallpaper, rounded accessories and daphenous window treatments. The media center offers a polarizing effect with its hard edges and cut-out features.

Odenplan’s Stunning Modern Stockholm Apartment

Off Odenplan Sqaure in Stockholm, Sweden, this spacious urban apartment features an airy open floor plan filled with hip, modern furnishings in bold colors of red, white and black with accents of orange. The cool pad is being offered for $1.65 million with 1,500 total square feet, a gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The living area boasts an expert pool table on one side and a full seating/lounging area on the other. The rich dark wood floors add warmth to the room's otherwise cool palette.

This tiled bathroom features floor to ceiling modern tiles in differing sizes and designs. The laundry appliance fits nicely tucked into the corner.

The svelte white kitchen is centered around a dominant concrete topped island set under a dramatic angled roof.

The master bedroom is decorated minimally with a simple king size bed and black greenery filled vases at the windows.

An Asian-inspired bathroom seems a bit unexpected when set amongst the other room’s their decors. The sharply curved wall and ceiling are a brilliant shade of Chinese red.

Surrounded by city views and enveloped in pumpkin-hued exterior walls, a nice size terrace opens off the living area accessed by extra wide plate glass doors.
