Urban Loft by Nordes Design: Interior Design Ideas

Russian design firm Nordes creates gorgeous contemporary spaces such as the two bedroom apartment featured here. It’s a study in understated modern design sans color yet filled with textural and visual elements like rich woods, textured rugs and upholstery, contemporary artwork and photography.

A neutral palette in the living room is amped with a textured rug and dynamic artwork and photography.

A bold-themed black and white photograph on a grand scale is the focal point of the apartment’s living area.

A dramatic spotlight set on the gold sofa brings warm light and a richness to the media and office space.

A view of the home office shows a simple yet richly grained wood desk and modern armchair in grey with natural wood base. The wide plank wood flooring adds to the warmth of the space.

The minimalist kitchen is compact and streamlined with flat panel cabinetry sans hardware and a slate back splash.

The dining area is filled with sunlight from the floor to ceiling windows. What a wonderful space to sit with a morning coffee or have breakfast with family.

A simple “log” side table adds a spot of warmth in the all neutral master bedroom.

The master bathroom is filled with beautiful textural and color elements from the earthy-hued marble walls, floors and bath surround to the pearlescent tile vanity wall.
